The HOA Board has located a contractor who has agreed to conduct testing for Saddlehorn residents—Hill Country Sprinkler & Backflow is offering a discounted rate of $50. Current Water Restrictions
The City of Boerne is currently in Stage 2 Water Restrictions, effective Monday, August 7, 2023. Expand the menus below to learn about each stage of restrictions.
Water Restrictions Overview
The City of Boerne has four stages of water restriction measures that are mandatory for all Boerne Utilities customers. City ordinance allows for the issuance of citations for water violators with fines up to $1,000 per violation.
Under Stage 1 Water Restrictions, residential and commercial utility customers are required to limit the use of water for landscape irrigation. These rules also apply to reclaimed water customers.
Customers are permitted to use individual sprinklers or sprinkler systems for lawns, gardens, or other landscaped areas on ONE DAY PER WEEK as assigned.
Designated watering days are assigned according to the last number of the street address. If your address ends in:

Under Stage 4 Water Restrictions, residential and commercial utility customers are required to limit the use of water for landscape irrigation. These rules also apply to reclaimed water customers.
Lawn irrigation with sprinklers or sprinkler systems is NOT allowed at any time. Customers are permitted to water other vegetation (not lawns) by hand-held hose, bucket, or watering can on ONE DAY PER WEEK as assigned.

Please remember that per the special HOA Member meeting on August 30, 2022, the Declaration of Covenants Conditions and Restrictions were updated as follows:
"Trash, garbage, or other waste (collectively “Trash”) shall be allowed to be stored in appropriate containers on the side of homeowners’ home and prohibited from being stored in front of the garage or in the driveway. On collection days, trash bins may be placed curbside with a 24-hour turnaround stipulation for placement of trash bins and retrieving of same on scheduled pickup days (the night before to the end of pickup date). In no event shall trash containers be left out overnight after pickup."

On bulk pickup days, there will be a 48-hour stipulation for placement curbside on scheduled pickup dates…” Please note that this means that bulk trash may be placed at the curb no sooner than the Saturday before Monday bulk trash pick up. Bulk trash is now the second week of each month (June 12, July 10, etc.). Please be respectful of your neighbors and refrain from placing items for pick up on the curb until the Saturday before pick up.

Our neighborhood Facebook group’s mission is to create a welcoming and safer community of families, individuals, and friends who will support, challenge, and inspire one another by providing a forum for sharing and receiving information to promote a more positive community.
Members are encouraged to share their knowledge, ask questions, participate in discussions, and become an integral part of this little community. Together we can become better stewards of our neighborhood and provide our fellow HOA members with a better experience. Please note this group is for Saddlehorn residents only, and you must answer qualification questions to join.
The HOA Annual Meeting occurs on the last Saturday in January at 2:00 PM via Zoom Meeting.
